Young children notice and begin to formulate their understandings of race and discrimination at very early ages. Many parents and teachers want to assist children in developing fair, just and reparative approaches towards race. But how do we do this with pre-school students, infants & toddlers? Following and extending the work of Andrew Grant-Thomas of EmbraceRace, this session supported parents and teachers in building community to engage in conversations with young children and teach equitable perspectives of race.
