The anti-bias and diversity series by the Center for Education and Civil Rights, the Child Care Center at Hort Woods, and the Bennett Family Center hosted an early educator panel on creating inclusive classrooms and schools for young children.

Since 2017, the Center for Education and Civil Rights, the Penn State Child Care Center at Hort Woods, and the Bennett Family Center have organized several critical discussions, workshops, and events as a part of their anti-bias and diversity series. This includes role playing activities,  a family forum, and speaker events featuring authors and educators like Katie Kissinger and Megan Dowd Lambert.

This panel was a continuation of that work. Educators engaged in in-depth discussions about their continued anti-biased work, including conversations with children and changes to the environment and curriculum.
